Wing and A
Prayer Aviary Home of Celestial
Cockatiels is a family run aviary,
owned by Lisa and Mike Grimes. We
are located
in Lawrenceville, Illinois and
specialize in show quality
cockatiels and pyrrhura (greencheek)
conures. All of our babies our
handfed with the utmost care and are
well socialized. We cater, not only
to the personal pet owner, but
to breeders and exhibitors, as
well.
We believe in allowing our birds to
be in the most natural environment
we can provide. When not in a
breeding setting, our birds are
placed in a flight. Our flights
are adorned with tree branches,
wooden perches, natural light,
and healthy food options for the
birds to choose from.
We established our aviary in 2001
and have continued to work to
improve our methods, as well as our
knowledge. It is our desire to
breed, healthy, beautiful birds with
sweet, loving, handleable personalities.
This means taking time with each and
every baby we hand feed and meeting
the nutritional needs of our parent
birds.
In addition to our cockatiels we
also raise and nurture several
mutations of the pyrruha conures.
These include Pineapples, cinnamons
and yellow-sides. Our greencheeks
have a room all to themselves as
they like their privacy. When babies
are pulled at two weeks of age we
take the utmost care in providing
not only their nutritional needs,
but lots of love and cuddle time.

Our desire is to place
each and every baby we sell into
loving and caring homes. We work to
educate every customer as they need.
It is not necessary to be an
exhibitor to purchase our birds.
All we ask is that you care for them
and give them a loving home.
